With your separate consent, Terri's Sweet Cakes may send texts about your quote or order, or promotional messages including birthday and holiday offers. Message frequency varies. 1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and placing an order with Terri's Sweet Cakes, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms of service contained in the Terms & Conditions outlined below. These terms apply to the entire website and any email or other type of communication between you and Terri's Sweet Cakes.
2. Custom Orders & Design
Each creation by Terri's Sweet Cakes is a handcrafted masterpiece. While we strive to match approved designs, slight variations in color and detail may occur due to the artisanal nature of our work.
Conceptual designs, sketches, and digital mockups remain the intellectual property of Terri's Sweet Cakes. They are intended for single-use execution and may not be reproduced without written consent.
3. Payments & Deposits
A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date for a custom order. The remaining balance is due 10 calendar days before pickup or delivery.
When the online Bake Shop is open, full payment is required at the time of purchase. Custom cake requests continue through the quote form while the shop is paused.
4. Cancellations & Alterations
For custom orders: The 50% deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations more than 14 days before the event, payments above the deposit are refundable. For cancellations 14 days or fewer before the event, payments already made are non-refundable. Changes to the design, flavor, or size may incur additional charges and depend on our production schedule.
For online Bake Shop orders: Cancellations or order changes require notice at least seven days before your confirmed pickup or delivery time. Contact us at orders@sweet-cakes.net.
5. Delivery & Pickup
Delivery starts at $30 depending on location (Illinois $30, Missouri $45, with a required $100 minimum order) within a 50-mile radius of our Belleville, Illinois studio. Special custom event delivery and setup are quoted before ordering. Delivery outside this area requires approval before booking. Once an order has been picked up or successfully delivered and set up, Terri's Sweet Cakes is no longer responsible for damage caused by subsequent transport, weather, or improper handling at the venue.
Pickup is by scheduled appointment window; our Belleville studio address is provided after purchase confirmation. If you need to reach us regarding your order or pickup appointment, contact us at orders@sweet-cakes.net.
6. Allergies & Preferences
Our cakes are prepared in a shared facility that handles nuts and other common food allergens. Cross-contact is possible, and we cannot guarantee allergen-free products. We do not offer gluten-free or vegan options. Please tell us about any food allergies before placing an order.
